I’m Bleeding…
I’ve taken a bit of time off from blogging. It was mainly because I had surgery, but there are other factors too. I still have a lot to say, but I’m not sure how to say it anymore. I’m bleeding…
I’ve been taking a night class, lately. The class is an English course. It is teaching me more about grammar and sentence structure. I’ve come to the realization, my writing is piss poor. I even look at this post and I want to throw it in the trash.
Game By Night
It is that time of week again, time to give a shout out to a blog I’m enjoying. All these blogs I talk about not only have great posts, they have great people writing them. If you get a chance to interact with them over Twitter, you can get a feel for their attitude. I like surrounding myself with positive people and people with a sense of humor. I wish I could express exactly how much I enjoy reading the bloggers on my blog roll. Here is an example of how I think of my Blog Buddies:
Lions, Tigers, Bears, Oh my!
Lions:
As I wrote in my last post, I got invited to do a podcast with Multiplaying. I had a great time, but I feel I could have done better. I tend to ramble and loose track of what I am saying. I’m not a great public speaker and I am a but shy. I write because words come to me easier than speaking them. I know River felt he was a bit nervous, but I think he did a great job. He has a great radio voice. I’m kind of nasally and quiet. If you haven’t heard the podcast yet, visit Multiplaying and listen to it. I would like some real feedback on how I did. I don’t want any sugar coating or lavish words, just honest opinions. If I don’t know, I can’t improve on it. Maybe, I am not cut out for podcasting. I would like to know that before I get all the resources together and people don’t listen, because I’m unbearable to listen to.
Dry Times
I’ve had a problem lately, I am blog impotent. I can’t get a post up. I’ve written a few posts, but they sucked. I just feel dried up. I might be trying too hard to impress you. I don’t know what it is, but I can’t think of anything worth a damn. I was thinking it was because of the summer rage-quit months or the lack of any good gaming news. Most of the blogs I read have slowed their posting too. What is it with the summer? Are we all outside tanning our butt cheeks till we can’t fart without saying “Ouch”? The summer is a dry time and my brain is shrinking.
Bio Break
I haven’t done and ode to another blog in a long time. I enjoy taking the time out of my mindless rambling to talk about other blogs. I am very passionate about reading the blogs I read. I feel like I connect with those people and think about what they are thinking. Spotlighting other blogs is not a way for them to see me or relink me, it is my way of telling everyone, I enjoy that blog very much. If I didn’t have these blogs to read, my day would drag on forever and I wouldn’t get to connect with 100′s of people around the world. Blogging and being part of a blogging community is a great thing. I enjoy blogging and reading blogs more than the games we all play. The least I can do is say, “hey dude, you are doing awesome job. Thanks for the great read!”
Note to Hackers…
Seriously, what is the point in hacking someone’s blog? Do hackers get money out of it? Do they get to post something their mommy said no to? Hackers are pieces of shit that need to be punched in the cock repeatedly. There is no point in hacking hard working people. Flip the coin and see how you would feel if you were hacking someone with a program that took you years to develop, only to have someone hack you first and erase everything you have done. As a piece of shit hacker you would say, “haahaa, that would be funny if I got hacked.”
Is Blogging ruining my feelings for MMOs?
Ever since I started blogging and following 50+ other bloggers, MMOs have not been the same. They have all fallen short of their hype and I feel like a pinball machine. Everytime a new game comes out, I play it for a month or less and then go back to WoW. It is not because I love WoW, it is my knowlege of the game’s faults. Blogging and reading other bloggers have made my senses dull and I have become jaded.
I’m Talkin’ Banner!
I didn’t get a chance to do a blog love post on Wednesday this week. I forgot why, but I know I was busy doing something. I don’t even think I posted that day. I figured I had a bit of time today to write something not about LotRO going F2P. But what blog did I really enjoy over the past few weeks? The answer was staring me right in the face.
Fallen Heroes
One of the reasons I like blogging so much is, finding new friends. When I read a person’s blog, I get a tiny sense of what kind of person they are. Just like a character in a novel, I imagine what they would be like in real life. The bloggers I read are my heroes. They come to save my boring days at work with leaps over tall buildings and blog faster than a speeding train. When one of my heroes stop blogging, a piece of me withers (dramatic momment). One of my heroes quit blogging (kind of), last week. He went by the name, Smashie. Smashie you will be remembered forever in this post.
