[Guest Post] Good Ol’ Blizzard
Today, I have a special guest post from Tim “Youngblood” from 16 Bit Radio (Formerly, Incoming Pull). He saw my post about canceling my WoW account and thought he would dust off a post he was saving and let me post it on my blog. I would like to thank him for letting me post this great letter to Blizzard and I hope you visit his new website and thank him for letting me post this while I’m at the doctors office. Check out 16 Bit Radio! You’ll be glad you did.
Dear Blizzard,
WoW Account Closed…
And I’m not sure when I’ll be back again. I’ve grown tired of WoW and I feel this is the last time. Yeah, I’ve quit about a dozen other times, but I’m not feeling interested in it anymore. Cataclysm is not doing it for me. It is the same crap as before with a new coat of paint. I feel I’ve grown apart from WoW. It’s going in a direction I don’t want to take.
Juicy Hotdog MMO
As some of you might know, I had a big, juicy hotdog for lunch yesterday. I stared at that wiener for a good 10 minutes before I chomped down on it. It was gone in seconds. I was left feeling empty as I wiped the speckles of ketchup off my chin. Damn mustard dripped on my crotch. There was something magical about that hotdog…
Hype:
SWTOR & GW2 Quest!
I’m on a quest! A quest for information. I am in search of blogs that talk about Star Wars The Old Republic and Guild Wars 2. I want to soak up as much information as I can about these games and the views of fellow bloggers. I want to hear your voices. Do you have a blog you follow that talks about these games and I don’t have them linked on my blog roll? If so, I need your help. I want to start keeping track of what you have to say and your blog buddies. Damn it, I need to know!
Will EQ Next be overshadowed by Blizzard Next?
For a few days I have been stewing over Sony’s plans to make a new Everquest. The project is called Everquest Next. They have given out a few screen shots and some key points. The game has no tentative release date, so we only can speculate what year it will come out. I’m thinking we might see a 2013 release date if everything goes well. I have one big question about the game though…
Battle of the Gamer/Non-Gamer
Pink Bunnie Foo Foo and I wanted to make this a podcast, but it requires community interaction to get off the ground. Our plan was to take questions about gaming and relationships impacted by it, but that takes you asking questions. So instead, we came up with a few questions to debate about to get the idea rolling. Maybe, this post will give you some ideas for questions and we can get a podcast going. It also, might get me off my ass and figure out how to podcast. Enjoy the first (maybe last) installment of Gamer vs Non-Gamer.
Sex and Gaming
Some topics about gaming are just not touched on at other blogs. I think it is important to know every aspect about gaming. It doesn’t make me popular, but I enjoy theorycrafting sex and gaming. Gamers have to know how to get it on and raid at the same time. I am here to help. There is nothing worse than choosing between raiding and a booty call. This is a quick guide on how to have your cake and fuck it too. Ahh, the things we can do with cake. Just a warning, the risk of getting a yeast infection (male and female) is increased when cake is smashed into the privates area. Here are a few tips to having sex and gaming:
Cryptic in Development
Way back when Cryptic announced the development of Champions Online, I visited their website and discovered other games in development. Star Trek Online was one of those games. I couldn’t believe they were trying to pump out 2 games almost at the same time. Not only that, but they had artwork for future games in development.
SWTOR: Not going to be negitive
I looked at Star Wars The Old Republic’s social networking experiment numbers today and thought bad things. It doesn’t look like they are going to get 52,000 more Facebook Likes and 10,000+ more Twitter followers in 6 days. It looks like the negative poopy heads have won.
I will still blog about SWTOR everyday this week to honor their effort to feel out their future player-base. I just wish huge sites like Darth Hater or Massively plugged this a bit more. I know they have bigger fish to fry, but it would have been nice to see little reminders at the bottom of all SWTOR posts.
The Passion of SWTOR
All of us are passionate about something in our lives. We use our passion to get up in the morning, take a shower, brush our teeth, eat a foot long hotdog, spank the kids, yell at out mother in-law, or fart in an elevator going 59 floors. Strong or weak, our passion is a great thing that motivates us. Sometimes, others share our passion. That group of people is called a community. As we project our passion as a group, the community grows and grows. The bigger a community, the more diverse opinions become. There are times when a community splits into smaller sects. Even though the sects have slight differences in opinions, the community still grows strong with passion. When people start loosing faith in their cause, they break away from the community, go to South America and drink Kookaid that kills them. Don’t drink the Koolaid!! Support Star Wars The Old Republic. If you don’t, you will die. I’m just saying, check the facts.
