I’m Bleeding…
I’ve taken a bit of time off from blogging. It was mainly because I had surgery, but there are other factors too. I still have a lot to say, but I’m not sure how to say it anymore. I’m bleeding…
I’ve been taking a night class, lately. The class is an English course. It is teaching me more about grammar and sentence structure. I’ve come to the realization, my writing is piss poor. I even look at this post and I want to throw it in the trash.
Game By Night
It is that time of week again, time to give a shout out to a blog I’m enjoying. All these blogs I talk about not only have great posts, they have great people writing them. If you get a chance to interact with them over Twitter, you can get a feel for their attitude. I like surrounding myself with positive people and people with a sense of humor. I wish I could express exactly how much I enjoy reading the bloggers on my blog roll. Here is an example of how I think of my Blog Buddies:
Lions, Tigers, Bears, Oh my!
Lions:
As I wrote in my last post, I got invited to do a podcast with Multiplaying. I had a great time, but I feel I could have done better. I tend to ramble and loose track of what I am saying. I’m not a great public speaker and I am a but shy. I write because words come to me easier than speaking them. I know River felt he was a bit nervous, but I think he did a great job. He has a great radio voice. I’m kind of nasally and quiet. If you haven’t heard the podcast yet, visit Multiplaying and listen to it. I would like some real feedback on how I did. I don’t want any sugar coating or lavish words, just honest opinions. If I don’t know, I can’t improve on it. Maybe, I am not cut out for podcasting. I would like to know that before I get all the resources together and people don’t listen, because I’m unbearable to listen to.
Dry Times
I’ve had a problem lately, I am blog impotent. I can’t get a post up. I’ve written a few posts, but they sucked. I just feel dried up. I might be trying too hard to impress you. I don’t know what it is, but I can’t think of anything worth a damn. I was thinking it was because of the summer rage-quit months or the lack of any good gaming news. Most of the blogs I read have slowed their posting too. What is it with the summer? Are we all outside tanning our butt cheeks till we can’t fart without saying “Ouch”? The summer is a dry time and my brain is shrinking.
Nonsense Gamer
Once again, it is WEDnesday and that means an Ode to a gaming website I love so much. Every once and a while I branch out and think about games other than MMOs. I do own a PS3 and a Wii, so it is nice to find a website that covers all my gaming needs. I have a few rules for my favorite websites/blogs before I will praise them. Here is my rules:
1. The writers need to be polite.
2. The writing needs to be about games.
3. Most of their posts need to be positive or factual.
I love the small guy like me
I’m just a little guy blogger. I like it that way. I don’t deal with crowds too well and I take trolls seriously. Plain and simple, I just like writing for my own amusement. I do love the people that read me and enjoy what I write. It add that extra modivation to write more everyday. If I didn’t have a full time job, I probably would write all day here. I enjoy the same kind of blogger as me. I enjoy reading the blogger that has heart and not greed. I’m trying to write a weekly column on Wednesday (a day of love), to tell the other bloggers how much I enjoy their writing.
Blog Buddies
The best thing about blogging is meeting new people through common interests. There are millions of blogs out there and hundreds being created each day. It amazes me at how many people enjoy writing for fun. Some do it for attention, prospect of future wealth, or practice. The blogs I love most are the ones created for the passion of writing and the knowledge they want to pass on. I wish I had time to read them all, but that is near impossible.
Rubbernecking the Train Wreck
Wow! What a day of blogging yesterday. I didn’t have to write anything original and everybody (that normally) came to visit. Most of the people that came added some great comments to help me get my blog up and running again. I think I fixed everything now. I had to redue my RSS, so you might not be subscribed anymore. The Feedburner should work better than ever now. I made it so people can read the whole post in their RSS. I didn’t know it was paraphrased last time. Thanks everybody that came back to my blog several times yeasterday to help me set up the train wreck.
