Battle of the Gamer/Non-Gamer
Pink Bunnie Foo Foo and I wanted to make this a podcast, but it requires community interaction to get off the ground. Our plan was to take questions about gaming and relationships impacted by it, but that takes you asking questions. So instead, we came up with a few questions to debate about to get the idea rolling. Maybe, this post will give you some ideas for questions and we can get a podcast going. It also, might get me off my ass and figure out how to podcast. Enjoy the first (maybe last) installment of Gamer vs Non-Gamer.
Sex and Gaming
Some topics about gaming are just not touched on at other blogs. I think it is important to know every aspect about gaming. It doesn’t make me popular, but I enjoy theorycrafting sex and gaming. Gamers have to know how to get it on and raid at the same time. I am here to help. There is nothing worse than choosing between raiding and a booty call. This is a quick guide on how to have your cake and fuck it too. Ahh, the things we can do with cake. Just a warning, the risk of getting a yeast infection (male and female) is increased when cake is smashed into the privates area. Here are a few tips to having sex and gaming:
So Long and Thanks for the Raid Fish
So, you love to raid? Everyday there is a raid, you log on and get your groove on. You love for the thrill of the first kill. You keep telling yourself it is not for the loot, but for the love of the game. You have paid your dues and grinded for the gear that will get you in a raid slot and now you are a primary raider. You log on 10 minutes before invites go out and get all ready for a night of fun. 90% of the time you are not playing the game. So when you do log on, most of the people don’t know who the hell you are. How’s that help the guild? What is the point of playing the game? Who are you?
When I was…
When I was a just a little boy I had dreams. Every kid wants to grow up and be heroic in some way. We have the idea we can do anything we want. We dream of flying, being tiny, turning invisible (especially in the girls shower room), or becoming a superhuman with laser beam eyes. What happens to us as we grow up? Why do we forget to dream? Why so serious?
16 Weeks
I spent the last 16 weeks going to a nutritionist. Yesterday was my last weigh-in and bodyfat test. It wasn’t easy and I didn’t make all my goals, but I am happy I did it. I am no healthier than I was before. I am the typical lazy American when it comes to eating. I used to by the cheap foods loaded with carbs and go out to eat atleast 3 times a week. Now, I plan my meals a bit better and only eat out once a week. I was sick of being the stereotypical gamer.
Fatherhood: Inner Demons
One of the hardest things being an adult is, realizing you are an adult. There is an invisible barrier you have to cross at some point in your life. Some people put an age on that barrier, others just slam face first into it. Fatherhood is one of those those times you slam face first into the adult barrier. It you are a young adult that suddenly becomes a father, it could damage your perception of what an adult is and start a battle with your inner demons.
